The Rabbit:

Winterberry is an younger rabbit, with an odd tendancy towards long silences which can often be broken when the chance to tell a story comes into view. She begain her life in a small warren with her mother and father who was Captain of the Owsla, but man came and the White Blindness killed everyone save herself and one older buck, Oak. Both attempted to find a new Warren, but most of the near by warrens heard the tail of the Blindness and refused them entry. Oak grew ill over the winter, while he and Winterberry made due with a scrap jon a hillside, and finally passed away. Leaving winterberry to fend for herself until spring. She came out of the ordeal quite different, her stories have dark turns to them and she's always prepared to defend what position she's in for fear of being driven out.
Her right eye is a startling ice blue with a small patch of white around it, a lingering memory of her ancestry not being quite pure wild rabbit. She's a large doe, and well equipped for fighting and is oftentimes mistaken for a buck due to her gruff mannerisms and habits.
