The Rabbit:

Water Chesnut has a tawny pelt with black hairs sprinkled throughout. Her ear tips are black and her paws are black as well. She is a small doe, and very fast. Water Chesnut is seriously hyper all the time. She'd make an excellent Owsla member, but she never will settle down and take responsibility. She loves to run and play. She's like a big, overgrown kitten. Her mother, Ilfirin, was a normal doe in the Nildro-inlé Warren, but Water Chesnut's father, Rooster's Call, was a wandering hlessi. Most rabbits think Water Chesnut's hyperness comes from her father and look at her sideways because of this. But Ilfirin was a respectable doe in the Warren, and a shoo-in for the Owsla, so the rah of Nepenthes and the rest accept her for who she is.
