Sage is reserved, and a bit mysterious. He will fight for his warren without question, but is not overly proud about it. In other words, he doesn't flash it about. He is loyal, but takes a little bit to really know his true self. He once lived in a warren, as a kitten, but left for numerous reasons to be a hlessi and fend for himself, teaching him things he could not have learned in warren life. He came to Nepenthes after aiding in a garden raid, not expecting anything, and almost by accident, but when Septfoil-Rah asked him to become his Supreme Captain, he could not turn down the chance at a new life in a warren he already felt at home in. He may be relativly new at warren life, and the role he has been given, but he works hard, and applies his knowledge from the outside best he can.
When he stumbled into Nepenthes warren a hrair many turnings ago, he had finally felt like he belonged somewhere. After the great war between Nepenthes and Nildro-Inle though, and the defeat of Kingsfoil-Rah he had become distraught, and in shock, left for the wild again to wander as hlessi. He survived only by approaching outlying warrens without being caught. He simply would stay a few nights in an area a slight distance from the warren out of sight where he could most heavily smell a collective scent, and then venture in like nothing was the slightest bit out of the ordinary. He had gotten through a few hard winters that way, and was no longer apposed to partaking in thier winter supply. He would always make sure to leave small favors in return, and in turn, had incidently had a few litters along the way.
He has since been feeling horrible homesickness, almost to the point of abnormality, and has been unexplainably drawn to come home to Nepenthes once again.
